  • When and how do I pay the entry fee?
    You can either pay the Entry Fee Online when you register, or you can select Offline Payment and we'll send you an invoice with details of how to pay by cheque, cash or bank transfer. Please note, if you wish to pay by card when you register, please select the Pay by PayPal option. PayPal act as our vendor and will accept card payments, even if you do not have a PayPal account. This also applies to invoices we send you, there will be the option to pay by card via PayPal, but you do not need an account to do this.
  • Can I have a team of less than 10?
    Yes this is possible but you must be aware that no person may run two consecutive laps.
  • Can I have a team of more than 10?
    Normally, no. If there are special circumstances then please contact the Organisers who will endeavour to help.
  • What surface is it run on?
    The track is a hard surface and a part of the circuit is stoney.
  • Can I bring my dog?
    Yes. Broadlands have requested that all dogs are kept on a lead due to ground nesting birds in the area that we use. Please also “scoop the poop”.
  • Can I run with my dog?
    Sadly with over 1000 competitors it is not possible for safety reasons.
  • How old do you have to be to enter?
    We have had children running from the age of 8 but there is a Children’s Race at the end of the main race.
  • What time does the Children’s Race start?
    It begins after the Relay Marathon is over which is generally about 3.30pm.
  • How far is it from the car park?
    It is approximately 400 metres, but there is a small area where you can drop Gazebos and other team itrems off about 200 metres away.
  • Is there disabled access?
    Yes but we would ask you to get in touch with the Organisers if you require this and you will be given further details.
  • May I bring a barbecue?
    Yes you may but there is a barbecue at the event run by the Copythorne Scouts to raise funds for their charitable enterprises.
  • May I bring a gazebo?
    Yes. Please get in touch with the Organisers and you will be allocated a space within the Spectator area and given details on when to set it up.
  • Is food, including vegetarian, available?"
    The answer is yes to both these questions. Copythorne Scouts run a barbecue at the event.
  • Are there disabled toilets?
    Yes.
  • May we visit the House?
    No the House is off limits. Spectators are requested to remain within the spectator area which is on the inside of the track.
  • What time does it start?
    The Race begins at 10.00am but team organiser should aim to arrive by about 8.45am.
  • What time does it finish?
    The Race should finish by 3.30pm. The childrens race lasts for around 15-20minutes after that time.
  • Do I have to stay all day?
    You do not have to stay all day but team members should make sure that they arrive in plenty of time for their slot in the race.
  • Is there any entertainment for kids?
    Yes there is. We provide free entertainment including a clown and face painting, but do ask that families supervise children throughout the day.
