Barratt Homes Relay Marathon
17th May 2020
COVID-19 Notice
Owing to Government social distancing restrictions, and as stated in an email sent to all teams' registered email addresses on March 18th, the Romsey Relay Marathon on 17th May 2020 is definitely CANCELLED. Consideration is being given to a smaller event on October 18th 2020 but this will obviously depend upon restrictions in place at that time. Otherwise, we are looking forward to planning a full event in May 2021.
If you have a booking for the 2020 event and have paid, then you have two options
1) Request a full refund of your entrance fee
2) Defer your place until October 2020 or 2021 with us holding your payment 'on account'.
If you have not already been in contact, please let us know your preference by email at
Many Thanks and Best Wishes
Charlie and Ron
After an incredible year in 2019 we are pleased to announce that the 2020 Romsey Relay Marathon is back on Sunday 17th May.
Sadly, we won't be joined by Tony Forward, a first class Rotarian who envisaged the Relay Marathon and devised its innovation. Tony died unexpectedly last year, and while his passion and booming voice will be sadly missed, we will continue with the Relay Marathon and other Rotary work around the world with the spirit of service above self.

The Relay Marathon returns to the stunning Broadlands Estate in the Spring of 2020.
The Barratt Homes Relay Marathon returns for the 8th year on Sunday 17th May 2020. Organised by the Rotary Club of Romsey, the Marathon is a unique community event held in the spring of each year, on the Broadlands Estate. Open to the whole community, the event raises funds and awareness for local charities and other good causes.
The Relay Marathon gives an opportunity for anyone to take part in a team of up to 10 runners who will collectively run 26miles and 385yards. Each runner will run two circuits of 1.3 miles to complete their leg of the course before handing the baton to their teammate. Every penny the Teams raise goes to charities and good causes of their choice, with the whole entry fee supporting Rotary's work.
